Motor Cycle

The motorcycle course is increasingly popular in Dubai and prepares students for RTA driving test to get Dubai driving license category 1. Students who complete this course and pass RTA tests are licensed to drive either manual or automatic transmission motorcycles.

This course also teaches turning and cornering at high speeds such as curves on highways and winding roads, especially when the curve is tighter than anticipated, tackling sharp turns from stoplights or stop signs, pulling out of parking spaces or driveways or onto a narrow street.

Course Information

  • Vehicle balancing and control
  • Vehicle positioning
  • Observation of traffic signs
  • Lane discipline
  • Use of gears, clutch, accelerator, horn, brakes, side mirrors, etc
  • Students who do not possess any motorcycle driving license are considered as a Beginner and thus have to register for mandatory 40 classes.
  • Students are eligible to take 20 classes provided they have a valid two-year old motorcycle driving license from their country and an affidavit from their consulate stating they have a valid motorcycle license.
  • Students coming for bike driving license training classes must wear safety shoes, full length sleeves shirt / T-Shirts and full length trousers whenever riding.

Training Details

Stages of practical training Subject
Stage 1 Yard

  • Perform pre-ride checks
  • Operate controls and devices confidently
  • Move the vehicle smoothly without stalling the
  • Change up and down gears.
  • Stop smoothly at marked point.
Stage 2 Yard

For delivery riders, the rider will ride motorcycle fitted with delivery box and loaded with 10 kg of load.

Able to:

  • Ride on left and right curves with the given requirements
  • Normal stop in the yellow box without touching the lines
  • Slow Ride with the given requirements
Stage 3 Yard

For delivery riders, the rider will ride motorcycle fitted with delivery box and loaded with 10 kg of load.

Able to ride according to yard test requirements on the following items:

  • Ride on left and right curves without touching the lines
  • U-turn smoothly and safely without putting the foot down
Stage 4 Yard

For delivery riders, the rider will ride motorcycle fitted with delivery box and loaded with 10 kg of load.

Able to ride according to yard test:

  • Keep within the boundary when making left and right turns at curve
  • Respond correctly to hazards by avoiding to left and right within the required avoidance distance.
