FAQ's

Student under Dubai visa:
a. Valid visa page copy
b. Original and valid Emirates ID with copy front and back
c. Eye test (Available in head office and included in total amount)
d. Original and valid home country license with copy (If Available)


Student under other emirates visa:
a. No Objection Certificate from sponsor (which needs to mention name of student and currently working in Dubai Branch with sponsor no objection to apply for Light Motor Vehicle Driving License in Dubai)
b. Trade License (Dubai branch and other emirates)
c. Eye test (Available in head office and included in total amount)
d. Original Emirates ID with copy
e. Original and valid home country license with copy (If Available)

If the student is holding a valid original light motor vehicle license of his/her country then he/she can either register for 15 hours (30 classes) or 10 hours (20 classes) depending on the issue date of the license.

You will be required to provide a clearance letter for your RTA file from other institute and bring the file to AADC head office.
In this scenario, you will be considered a beginner in motorcycle driving course and will have to take 15 hours (30 driving classes). In case you've a bike license of any other country more than 2 years old, you'll have to take 8 hours (16 classes).
Yes, if you change from one course to another you will be required to pay AED 105 as course change fees in addition to extra amount to cover the cost difference between the two courses. If the fees of the new course is lower than the existing course the difference will be refunded to the customer.
You need to inform through email care@alahlidubai.ae or call AADC call center 800 252454 at least 48 hours in advance to cancel the class.
You need to visit RTA office or call RTA help line telephone number 800 9090
You will undergo the school & RTA test. Practical training is required only if you fail any test.
You will undergo only RTA Knowledge Test and RTA Final Road Test.
You can do in our AADC Head office Saturday-Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm or you can do any optical shop nearest your location with RTA approval for license.
Firstly, you will be marked as absent. Secondly, to reappear for the test or classes you will have to make the payment and book the test or classes again.
You need to send us an email on care@alahlidubai.ae 48 hours prior to the Test or class.
Yes, you may register in Al Quoz (HO) and take your driving classes in any of the AADC branch except stage 4 classes and Highway classes. You may also opt for another branch later during your training at no additional cost.
This test enables the Assessment Examiner along with the student's instructor to determine the student's driving skills & understanding. This is conducted only in case you have driving license from home country
Kindly approach the scheduling department in the main Administration building and they will do the needful.
Friday assessment test is only available for the Weekend course students (Friday only or shifting schedule)
